Industrial Strength Materials

The water dam is made of a high density memory foam that returns to it’s original shape after it has been rolled or stepped on. It’s 1.25 inches wide by 1.25 inches high and it compresses to approximately 0.25 inches high when compressed. It’s unique fence-like shape helps to catch the bottom of the shower curtain to prevent it from blowing out over the water dam.

To ensure the water dam is able to catch your shower curtain you can use our extra long shower rings to easily lower your shower curtain to the proper height. Also, our shower curtain kits seal the curtain edges to either side of your accessible shower providing even greater curtain control.

Easy to Install

To install the dam simply trim the strip to fit, remove the backing from the self adhesive strips, and apply in place directly below the shower curtain rod. It can be cut to your measurements or shipped in a bulk roll for multiple jobs.

The StayDry shower curtain makes this possible. It features two hemmed sleeves on either side that hold rubber tubes. The rubber tubes fit snugly into wall channels that stick to either side of your shower. Just get into your shower and press the curtain and tube into the wall channels to seal your shower curtain. Our shower curtain seals up the sides of your shower and if you combine it with our Collapsible Water Dam you can stop leaks at the bottom of the curtain as well! The unique shape of our water dam catches the bottom edge of the shower curtain and stops it from blowing out over the bathroom floor. This setup has been used in hundreds of showers in care homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities to reduce the slipping hazard caused by wet floors.

Our Solution

Our Curtain Sealer closes up that gap by sealing the edge of your shower curtain against the wall. It is made up of 3 self-adhesive wall channels and a rubber tube that fits snugly inside the channels. The wall channels stick securely to your shower wall where you would like your curtain to be sealed. The rubber tube hangs just behind the edge of your shower curtain. Folding the curtain edge around the rubber tube and then pressing both into the wall channels creates the special StayDry seal.

Using your Curtain Sealer

1. Fold one edge of your shower curtain around the rubber tube
2. Press the curtain and the sealer into each of the wall channels
3. That’s it your shower curtain is sealed!

The StayDry Enviro Shower Curtain Kit consists of a self-adhesive wall channels, the PEVA curtain and two foam cords. The channels stick to your shower wall and the cords hang from your shower rod. Our StayDry curtain has special hems that hold the foam cords inside for convenience.

To seal your curtain simply press the foam cord inside the curtain sleeve into the channel. The channel pinches the curtain in place against the wall to keep water in your shower and off your floor. Finally, a shower curtain that does not leak and stops curtain “blow in”
